Most of the primary boards have regularly scheduled meeting days and times. At times there will be special meetings called when work loads require such or some issue has arisen that requires prompt attention. Meetings may also be postponed or canceled for a variety of reasons. Notices of special meetings are posted at the Town Hall and the Post Office in Townshend and West Townshend. They are also sent out by email to all who are on the email list that is produced as a supplement to this web site when possible.
With the Select Board, in particular, but with all boards, if you wish to come to a meeting to speak to a specific issue, it is advisable to contact the appropriate board with a brief synopsis of what you wish to speak about and request a position on the agenda in advance.
