TOWNSHEND, VERMONT ORDINANCES

Townshend, VT has many municipal ordinances. Some of these, like parking and speed ordinances, are strictly local in nature. Others, like sewage disposal, are mandated by the State of VT and must be adopted by the Town.

Ordinances are listed in no particular order and the date of adoption is noted under the name of the ordinance. Every attempt has been made to gather and post all ordinances and in their most recent form. However, there is no guarantee so it is wise to contact the Town Clerk with any questions before assuming these are the most current versions and that they are all here.

Many of these have been scanned into electronic copy using an OCR program to make the text search-able. Be advised that some text may look a bit odd because of that.
